Real-time High-speed Lossless CompressionCVC Accelerator (PCIe Accelerator)
PCIe Accelerator That Achieves Overwhelming Speed-up
CVC Accelerator Features
- Readily accelerates CVC Image & Wave by using a PCIe board
- Achieves overwhelmingly faster compression than CVC Image & Wave
- Low-latency design - Compression starts once data is input
- Features stable processing speed and virtually real-time processing
- Low-profile & fanless design suited for embedded PCs
- Higher compression ratio than conventional methods
- Highly secure due to our proprietary algorithm
- Includes a free license for a dedicated library for decompression
CVC Accelerator: Usage
- To use CVC Accelerator, it is necessary to control compression/decompression (make API calls) from a customer's software.
- Data passing method for CVC Accelerator is essentially memory to memory.
- Allocation and management of the memories for original images and compressed images should be handled by a customer's software.
Supported environment:
- PCI Express Card Edge Gen2 x8, Gen3 x4 accelerator board
- Effective Compression/Decompression Speed: 2600 Mbytes/sec (16-bit data), 1800 Mbytes/sec (8-bit data)
- Bit Depth: up to 8-bit / 16-bit
- Low-profile & fanless design suited for embedding in industrial equipments or servers
- Fully upward compatible with CVC Image & Wave
- Includes a free license for a dedicated library for decompression (for Windows)
- Supports drivers for Windows 10 (64-bit) and Linux (64-bit)
